04 November 2024

In Odesa, at 54 Akademika Zabolotny Street, renovation work is underway for a residential building that was damaged due to armed aggression from the Russian Federation on January 1, 2024. The attack resulted in damage to the roof and utilities.

The destroyed section of the roof was quickly dismantled, and measures were taken to eliminate the consequences of the attack. The management company servicing the building organized the installation of a temporary protective covering, allowing for the restoration of heating in the building.

After completing all necessary project approval procedures, the City Utilities Department announced the auction winner. The contract was awarded to "Pilon West" LLC, with the estimated cost of the work being 4.1 million hryvnias.

“The project includes work to restore the technical premises, attic, machinery room, ventilation ducts, and the roof of the building,” emphasized Artem Zakharov, Deputy Director of the City Utilities Department.

Currently, specialists have nearly completed the restoration of the elevator room and reinforced the metal frameworks. Work on the roof is ongoing.

The restoration of the residential building on Akademika Zabolotny Street is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024.
