Impact of Hostile Attack in Odesa: Current Updates
On the night of November 6-7, 2024, a hostile attack occurred in the Khadzhibey district of Odesa, damaging 3 residential buildings, 14 vehicles, and a gas pipeline.
As of 2:00 PM, damage has been reported in 110 apartments. Utility services are working to address the aftermath of the attack by temporarily covering window openings with plastic. The plastic and other materials have been provided by the NGO "Tenth of April" with support from UNHCR and the charity fund "Winds of Change".
For residents of the damaged buildings and utility workers on site, the charity fund "Morning of Revival" has organized hot meals and beverages.
Medical professionals and psychologists from Primary Health Care Center No. 16 have offered psychological support to those affected by the attack.
Additionally, a municipal operational headquarters is working on-site. Citizens can contact the headquarters for assistance in restoring windows and doors and to receive consultations about the state program eRecovery.
Applications for assistance under the eRecovery program and material aid from the city budget for restoring windows and doors can also be submitted to the Khadzhibey District Administration.
