New Regulations for Starlink Terminals in Ukraine

The Ukrainian government has approved a new resolution regarding Starlink terminals, known for their use during the war. Now only authorized terminals will be allowed to function in the country. This was announced by Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
"This decision is a response to the fact that Russian drones are using Starlink, making them difficult to intercept. They can fly low and are controlled in real time," the minister emphasized.
He noted that the only way to counter this threat is to create a "white list" of terminals. This initiative is being implemented in collaboration with SpaceX.
"The registration process for Starlink terminals for Ukrainians will be as convenient as possible. Just one visit to the nearest administrative center - for free and quickly. A simple online verification algorithm will also be available for businesses on the Diia portal," the minister added.
As for the military, they do not need to visit the administrative center, as a secure channel through DELTA is already operational for them.
"You do not need to place terminals on the military unit's balance or transfer account data. The main thing is to include the terminal in the 'white list' to avoid blocking," Fedorov stated.
Detailed instructions for terminal registration will be provided soon.
Earlier, the minister stated that Starlink terminals must undergo additional authorization to continue operating in Ukraine, as SpaceX has taken measures to prevent their unauthorized use.
