Gas Explosion in Kiliya: A Hazardous Incident

On December 7, 2025, in the city of Kiliya, along Victory Street, a gas-air mixture explosion took place. The blast caused a fire within an apartment, resulting in partial destruction of interior walls and the wall adjoining the neighboring unit.
Firefighters promptly extinguished the flames and rescued two victims: a woman and a man, who were handed over to medical personnel.
The likely cause is a violation of fire safety regulations while operating gas equipment.
Three units of fire service equipment and seven rescuers were deployed.
