Growth of Volunteers in Ukraine: New Achievements

The number of officially registered volunteers in Ukraine has reached 11,792 individuals.

According to data from Open Data Bot, the number of official volunteers has increased by 11% over the past year.

“Ukrainians continue to donate as if it were a second tax — but voluntary. Over the year, the amount donated to banks decreased by 19%, while funds collected one-third more than in the previous three years combined,” the report states.

Each month, 2.95 billion UAH is received by banks in monobank, despite the average donation amount slightly decreasing to 392 UAH from 413 UAH last year. In total, 1.8 million people donate monthly to banks.

The top three funds are United24, “Come Back Alive,” and the Prytula Foundation. They raised 105.9 billion UAH, which is 37% more than in the previous three years combined.

  • United24 topped the ranking — 77.7 billion UAH, three times more than in 2022.
  • “Come Back Alive” — 26.2 billion.
  • Prytula Foundation — 1.97 billion UAH, with the donation amount increasing by a quarter over the year.
