New Year trees from the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine": sales have begun

The State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" has announced the start of Christmas tree sales, with approximately 10,000 trees already sold. This information was provided by the press service of the enterprise.
This year, it is planned to sell around 140,000 coniferous trees. If demand is higher, additional trees will be harvested.
The enterprise has 2,700 hectares of "Christmas tree" plantations, housing 7.8 million holiday trees.
"Prices for Christmas trees are social and have remained almost unchanged compared to last year — from 210 to 250 UAH. Fir/spruce ranges from 240 to 280 UAH," the statement reads.
Notably, prices are slightly higher in resource-poor regions of the East and South, near large cities (Dnipro, Odesa, Mykolaiv). The cheapest trees are available from foresters in the forested areas of the North and Polissya (Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv).
Additionally, some branches of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" offer Christmas trees in containers, with prices starting from 500 UAH depending on size.
Trees can be purchased directly from the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" without markups. Their branches organize retail sales at the trading sites of forestry enterprises, fairs, and markets of local communities.
It is emphasized that the Christmas trees sold by the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" are necessarily marked with tags containing barcodes or self-adhesive labels, which confirm their legality and safety.
