Tulips in Odesa: New Floral Initiatives

The employees of the municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» are actively engaged in planting tulips in Odesa. This autumn, the city received over 98,000 colorful flowers from the Embassy of Ukraine in the Netherlands. The project is managed by the K.U. «Grant Office «Odesa 5T».

Currently, the landscapers are working on several locations.

In Istanbul Park, around 3,700 tulips are being planted. They will adorn a new flowerbed created by the enterprise's workers, shaped like a large heart and planted in the colors of Odesa's flag.

Floral patterns with tulips will also decorate the area near the Regional State Administration, where about 3,000 flowers are being planted.

Planting work is ongoing in other green areas of the city as well. In Shevchenko Park alone, 10,200 tulip bulbs have already been planted.

A significant number of tulips are also planned to be planted in the central part of the city, near the administrations, at the Tenth of April Square, as well as in Odesa's parks and squares.
