New Logistics Corridor Connecting Ukraine and Turkey

The Polish intermodal carrier Laude Smart Intermodal has inaugurated a new logistics corridor linking the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk with Turkey. This route combines maritime and rail transport, significantly accelerating the delivery of goods to EU countries and the Black Sea region.
Cargo shipments begin at the Chornomorsk port in Odesa, after which goods are transported by sea to the Turkish port of Aliaga, and then by rail to Poland.
The first train, consisting of 50 containers, departed on November 5. Ukrainian operators, including subsidiaries of Ukrzaliznytsia, are also involved in establishing this new route.
According to the company, the entire journey from Turkey to the Polish terminal in Zamosc takes about 10 days, greatly improving logistics between Ukraine, Poland, and Turkey.
Laude notes that the launch of the route through Chornomorsk provides Ukrainian exporters with a reliable channel for shipping their products and strengthens transport links between Ukraine and the EU as well as Black Sea countries.
The company is also considering expanding the route towards Georgia and Azerbaijan.
