Commemoration of Holodomor Victims in Odesa

On this somber occasion, a ceremony took place on Hetman Sahaidachny Boulevard in Odesa, where flowers and wheat sheaves were laid at the memorial for Holodomor victims in Ukraine.
Victims of the famines were honored with a moment of silence.
Churches across Odesa held memorial services for the victims of the famines that struck Ukraine.
In the evening, at 16:00, residents of Odesa will join the nationwide moment of silence and light a Candle of Remembrance in their windows, paying tribute to those who perished due to the famine inflicted by the Stalinist regime.
