Winter Support 2025: New Opportunities for Ukrainians
Ukrposhta will facilitate the disbursement of funds under the «Winter Support 2025» program throughout Ukraine, including frontline regions.
This initiative, approved by the Government for 2025-2026, includes a one-time payment of 1000 UAH for all citizens of Ukraine. Assistance is available to everyone, except those living abroad or in temporarily occupied territories.
Ukrposhta will be the main partner in this initiative, ensuring timely and convenient delivery of payments, making state support genuinely accessible to all.
«Supporting our people is the most important task this winter, especially in frontline communities. As last year, Ukrposhta, with its extensive network, will ensure that help reaches those in need», noted Vice Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba.
Last year’s experience showed that many Ukrainians, particularly from remote communities, lack access to banking infrastructure. This is especially true in rural and mountainous areas.
Ukrposhta proved indispensable in delivering aid last year, providing payments for around 2 million citizens in 2024. Among them, nearly 1.2 million received assistance in villages.
This year, the program will resemble last year's, with a few changes:
- Pensioners and recipients of social payments will automatically receive 1000 UAH on the day of their pension or social payment.
- Citizens who cannot apply through the «DiiA» app can submit their application at Ukrposhta from November 18 to December 24.
People with limited mobility who cannot visit Ukrposhta offices can call the hotline for assistance.
To apply, individuals need to have:
- a passport;
- identification code;
- for children, a birth certificate;
- documentation for legal guardians.
Funds received can be used to pay for utilities, order medications, and purchase other Ukrainian goods.
Ukrposhta has ensured that service quality remains high during the holiday season so that clients can quickly receive their packages.
