Ukrainian Navy Receives New Combat Boat 90s
The Ukrainian Navy has added new Combat Boat 90 vessels to its fleet, delivered from Norway and Sweden. This was announced by Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, the commander of the Ukrainian Navy, on his Facebook page.
“These boats are already part of our naval forces, and their numbers have significantly increased – a full division has been formed based on this new technology,” he stated.
According to the commander, CB90s are among the best in the world and are used in various countries, including NATO member states.
The vessels are fast, maneuverable, and reliable. They are intended for a variety of tasks, from troop deployment to coastal patrols and the protection of civilian shipping.
The boats are equipped according to modern maritime warfare standards, and crews have undergone comprehensive training to utilize all the capabilities of this technology effectively.
“I personally tested the Combat Boat 90 in action. I am convinced that these boats will become a powerful tool in the hands of our warriors,” emphasized Neizhpapa.
He also reminded that the supply of this technology is another result of collaborative efforts within the Coalition of Maritime Capabilities of Ukraine, aimed at enhancing the Navy's potential.
