City Clean-Up Initiatives: Weekly Sanitation Days

Every week, employees from municipal enterprises organize sanitation days where they engage in cleaning public areas and those not managed by the utility companies.

Last week in Odesa, municipal entities held a joint clean-up event in the Bezimenniy Lane, where they removed unauthorized waste and transported around 15 cubic meters of garbage.

Additionally, other enterprises removed bulky waste and fallen leaves from several locations, including Prince Yaroslav the Wise Avenue.

The utility company carried out cleaning of public spaces, green zones, and areas near waste containers while also removing notices from poles. Work was conducted on various streets, including Ak. Koroleva Street and Heavenly Hundred Avenue.

Moreover, the workers organized clean-ups around abandoned buildings and public areas that are not under their management, including Krasny and Pokrovsky Lanes.

Ultimately, the utility companies also cleaned areas not under their jurisdiction on several streets, including Prokhorovskaya Street and Myasoyedovskaya Street.
