Child Injured by Electric Shock Near Railway Station
31 October 2025
On October 26, law enforcement received information from medical staff about a child who was injured by electric shock near the railway station in Rozdilna.
According to the press service of the Odesa police, it was preliminarily determined that the child was climbing over a train car when they were electrocuted. Medical assistance is being provided to the victim, while police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Authorities once again remind parents of the importance of supervising their children and explaining that railways are not a place for play. Trains, carriages, and other objects are under high voltage, and electric shock can occur not only upon contact but also at a distance.
