European Delegates Visit Odesa

Last week, Odesa hosted representatives from European institutions, including the EU Ambassador to Ukraine, Ms. Katarina Maternová, and the head of the regional office of the European Investment Bank, Kristina Mikulová.

During their working visit, the delegation explored the operations of the tram repair workshops of KP "Odesmiskelektrontrans" and toured the electric transport museum, where they received a brief guided tour.

Last year, as part of the "Ukrainian Urban Public Transport" project, and with financial support from the European Investment Bank, multi-section Tatra trams were purchased.

Currently, these trams service route No. 7, providing comfortable transportation for the residents of Odesa.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the implementation of current and future initiatives aimed at modernizing urban transport, enhancing its efficiency and sustainability.

This visit marked a significant step in strengthening the partnership between Odesa, the European Union, and the European Investment Bank in the field of sustainable urban development.
