Urban Improvement in Odesa: Ongoing Initiatives

Last week, municipal services in Odesa were actively engaged in enhancing the city's appearance. Specialists were focused on maintaining the cleanliness and order of streets, yards, and parks, completing numerous tasks at the request of local residents.

The «City Roads» municipal enterprise was involved in cleaning bus stops, as well as mechanical and manual cleaning of assigned areas, including unclogging storm drains from fallen leaves. Additionally, rainwater drainage systems were being cleaned.

The «City Green Trust» was responsible for maintaining the city's green zones in proper sanitary conditions: sweeping pathways, clearing lawns of debris and leaves, trimming bushes, and removing hazardous trees. Chrysanthemum planting was also ongoing.

Experts from the «Housing and Utility Services» responded to residents' requests by addressing emergency situations in building communications, repairing roofs, and clearing basements and attics.

Moreover, efforts continued to mitigate the aftermath of the recent rainstorm, which notably affected Rybalska Balka Street.

Municipal workers regularly conduct sanitation days to tidy up neglected areas.

The Service Center is continuing preparations for winterization of city fountains.
