Tragedy in Odesa Region: Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
A tragic incident occurred in the Odesa region where two women were hospitalized due to carbon monoxide poisoning, and unfortunately, one man died. This information was provided by the rescue services on October 19.
According to reports, the incident took place on October 18 in the town of Ananyiv in the Podilskyi district. The women, born in 1973 and 1979, were admitted to the hospital in critical condition. The body of a man born in 1970 was also found in the house showing signs of carbon monoxide poisoning.
During the inspection, rescuers found no signs of fire or burning in the premises. Preliminary investigations suggest that the poisoning was caused by a carbon monoxide leak due to a malfunction in the heating system, as stated by the emergency services.
