TAF Industries' new Kvazar-A electronic warfare system

17 October 2025

The Ukrainian company TAF Industries has unveiled its latest electronic warfare system, the "Kvasar-A", aimed at safeguarding armored vehicles and cars. The manufacturer detailed the capabilities of this innovation in their recent post.

The "Kvasar-A" system is designed to effectively counter kamikaze drones and multirotor UAVs that drop payloads. Key features of the device include:

  • 360° coverage with a range of up to 300 meters;
  • Suppression of control and video transmission channels;
  • Five channels with a power output of 100 W each;
  • Customizable frequency ranges.

The "Kvasar-A" creates a field of active interference, blocking control signals and video feeds. It features magnetic mounting antennas and can be deployed within 5 minutes. It operates in rain, dust, and freezing temperatures, with an IP66 protection rating and up to 2 hours of autonomy. "Kvasar-A" maintains defensive lines, protects the crew, and saves lives, as stated in the TAF Industries video.

Additionally, in September, TAF Industries announced the codification of the FPV drone Kolibri 13-O with a fiber-optic communication channel. This drone is an enhanced version of the standard Kolibri model, specifically designed for operation in dense electronic warfare environments. The manufacturer highlights that this new model includes features that make the drone a "cheat code" on the battlefield.
