Emergency Response in Odesa: Rescue Operations Ongoing

For nearly a day, rescue teams have been addressing the consequences of extreme weather in Odesa and the surrounding area. Reports indicate 9 fatalities, including 1 child.
Throughout the night, rescuers assisted in evacuating individuals from flooded areas, retrieving vehicles, pumping out water from buildings, and searching for a missing girl, whose body was discovered at 7 AM. A psychologist from the emergency services was present on site.
In total, 362 individuals have been rescued, and 227 vehicles evacuated.
A total of 255 rescuers and 68 units of equipment have been deployed.
The operations are ongoing.
