New Online Certification for Mine Action Operators in Ukraine

Ukraine is launching a new online certification process for mine action operators through the "Diia" app. This announcement was made by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
"Now, almost all stages can be completed remotely: from application submission to appeals. The only aspect that will remain offline is the on-site inspection," Svyrydenko noted.
Separate workspaces will be available for operators and certification bodies, enabling quick exchange of documents and comments.
Each stage has clear deadlines, with a minimum certification period set at 1 month.
Currently, there are 125 registered operators in Ukraine, the majority of which are Ukrainian, with only 8 being foreign.
"Scaling up and accelerating demining efforts are among the government's key priorities, as Ukraine is currently one of the most mined countries in the world," Svyrydenko emphasized.
