Ongoing Search for Missing Boy in Chornomorsk

The search continues for a boy born in 2009, who went missing while swimming in the sea on July 28 in Chornomorsk.
According to the press service of the State Emergency Service of Odesa region, rescuers have surveyed 1,909,300 square meters of the seabed (including 82,000 square meters using an underwater drone) and 1,136 km of coastline.
It is worth noting that preliminary reports indicate the boy was swimming near Plyazhna Street when he suddenly disappeared from sight. Due to strong winds and high waves, divers were unable to conduct search operations that same day. Rescue efforts commenced on the morning of July 29, as soon as weather conditions permitted.
