Unique Shell Maze in Odesa Region

A unique maze constructed from rapan shells has opened in the village of Molodizhne, located in the Odesa region, captivating all visitors at the family recreation park «New Vasyuki».
According to Lana Vetrova, the head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine, the maze stretches 486 meters in length, with walls that are 25 cm thick. The total area of the maze measures 911.3 square meters. More than 134 tons of shells were collected from various sea shores to create this amazing structure. The process of cleaning and preparing the shells took years under the sun. The owner of the eco-park, Vasyl Voloshynov, believed in this idea, and the result is a new record for Ukraine: «The First Maze Made of Rapan Shells».
