Ukrposhta Launches Beta Test for New Mobile App

Starting September 15, 2025, Ukrposhta will begin beta testing of its new mobile application featuring the most sought-after functionalities.

This was announced by the company's CEO, Igor Smilyansky, on Telegram.

«We are planning to launch the app in three stages, similar to many global companies. Today, we are making the beta version available with the most anticipated features. We invite you to download, test, and provide feedback — there is a special form for this purpose,» he stated.

The new app already includes push notifications for package arrivals, delivery status changes, reminders for pickups, and new promotions. Additionally, all shipments associated with a specific phone number will be automatically displayed.

A detailed tracking feature has been implemented, allowing users to monitor all information regarding a package: route, sender, recipient, tariff, status, payment details, and a barcode for scanning in the post office. A universal search for shipments and an interactive map of post office locations with addresses, operating hours, and online payment options (currently only at the shipment creation stage) are also available.

«Moreover, there is a unique feature that no one else offers. When creating a package, you can choose an option based on price and delivery times: a more expensive option for next-day delivery (the «Priority» tariff) if you are in a hurry, or a 2-4 day option (the «Basic» tariff),» added Smilyansky.

In the second stage, the head of Ukrposhta promises to implement package management features (redirecting, changing the recipient) and payment by the recipient. After launching this stage, the operator plans to eliminate all paper forms in the post offices. Everything will be available online or via the call center.

In the third stage, the functionality will be expanded: the app will allow payments and ordering goods, stamps, medications, and more.

Smilyansky noted that the app is a proprietary development of Ukrposhta, without involving third-party companies.
