Inclusive Beach in Odessa: A Hub for Community and Fun

The inclusive beach No. 11 in Odesa has long transformed from merely a relaxation spot into a true center for community, support, and new friendships.

In early September, around a hundred veterans and their families gathered here to enjoy a day by the sea, converse, laugh, and simply be together.

The sea breeze, music from a military band, the scent of barbecue, and heartfelt conversations created an atmosphere where everyone felt at home.

“Friends, comrades, and families came together around common values,” emphasized Odesa's deputy mayor, Serhiy Kotsyuba.

It’s worth noting that the municipal inclusive beach No. 11 opened its doors on July 1, 2025. Since then, it has been a place of healing for thousands of Odesans and people from all over Ukraine.

The event was organized with the support of the Primorsky district administration in collaboration with the NGO “Barrier-Free.”
