Addressing Illegal Street Trading in Odesa
Recently, a site of illegal street trading has been successfully removed in the Khadyjibey district of Odesa.
This action was initiated in response to numerous complaints from local residents regarding street trading along Yitzhak Rabin Street (Boris Derevyanka Square). Officials from the Consumer Market Development and Consumer Rights Protection Department, along with the Khadyjibey District Administration, carried out the dismantling of illegally placed trading elements.
The operation involved representatives from the National Police of Ukraine and city council members.
As a result of these actions, multiple administrative protocols were drawn up for violations of urban improvement regulations, illegal land use, and trading activities not complying with the rules for placing temporary structures for business operations in Odesa.
Additionally, a decision was made to establish a permanent presence in this area to ensure proper monitoring and prevent further illegal street trading activities.
