Street Lighting Network Restoration in Odessa

Experts from the municipal enterprise «Odessmiksvitlo» have completed the restoration of the street lighting network on Fontanska Road, 18 in Odessa.

The electricians replaced a damaged pole due to a traffic accident with a new one. The work involved dismantling the damaged pole, installing a new one, and connecting the light fixture and cable line.

Replacing poles is quite a labor-intensive process that requires special equipment (like cranes).

Since the beginning of the year, specialists have replaced 23 emergency poles, with 10 of them being damaged as a result of traffic accidents.

The municipal enterprise «Odessmiksvitlo» regularly conducts repairs of street lighting systems in streets, parks, and squares, as well as addressing emergency situations.
Scheduled inspections are continuously performed on street lighting objects (poles, distribution cabinets, fixtures, etc.) to identify faulty or non-functional elements and acts of vandalism.
The electricians carry out cable network tightening, replace outdated fixtures and brackets with new ones, trim tree branches, resolve emergency situations, and more.
