Fire Incident in Avangard Residential Complex
Last night, a fire broke out in an apartment on the third floor of a five-story building located on European Street in the Avangard community. The flames ignited, but thanks to the prompt actions of firefighters, the blaze was quickly extinguished, and there were no injuries.
According to the State Emergency Service of Odesa region, the fire started in the apartment and spread to the balcony on the third floor. Emergency responders reacted swiftly to the call and began extinguishing the fire.
"Firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring apartments," the State Emergency Service reported.
The quick response of the services helped to contain the blaze and prevent a larger fire in the residential complex with many residents.
A significant number of forces and resources were deployed to the scene - 7 units of equipment and 25 firefighters from the State Emergency Service, along with 1 unit of equipment and 3 personnel from the Avangard Village Council's Citizen Safety Center.
Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the appropriate authorities.
