Ongoing Search for Missing Teen in Chernomorsk

01 August 2025

For the fourth consecutive day, rescuers are unable to find the body of a teenager who went missing at sea. Specialists have already surveyed over 80,000 square meters of the seabed and dozens of kilometers of coastline, but without success.

Recall that on July 28, a boy born in 2009 disappeared while swimming. The incident took place in Chernomorsk on Beach Street. Search efforts began on July 29, hampered by strong winds and large waves that obstructed the diving unit. Today marks the fourth day of the search.

"A total of 81,500 square meters of seabed (of which 45,000 square meters were examined using a drone) and 60 km of coastline have been surveyed," the emergency services reported.
