Tragedy Strikes During Storm in Odesa Region

In the Odesa region, during a severe storm, a tree fell on a tent where teenagers were present, leading to the death of one boy.

This information was reported by the State Emergency Service.

The incident occurred in Balta, located in the Podilskyi district. A sudden deterioration in weather conditions was accompanied by strong winds. One of the trees fell directly onto a tourist tent where children were staying.

Rescuers managed to extract four teenagers and handed them over to medical personnel. Unfortunately, the fifth boy could not be saved.

Law enforcement is investigating the circumstances surrounding the child's death.
