Fire Breaks Out in Residential Complex in Odesa Region

Last night, a fire broke out in an apartment on the 13th floor of a 16-story residential building in Lymanka, located in the Odesa region.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.
Firefighters evacuated 23 residents using ladders and rescued three dogs. The fire was extinguished over an area of 50 square meters.
Due to significant smoke, firefighters operated with breathing apparatuses. A smoke extraction device was employed to ventilate the premises quickly. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.
The cause of the fire and the extent of damages are being investigated.
The SES deployed 9 units of equipment and 29 firefighters to the scene.
