Black Sea Cup in Beach Sambo at Inclusive Beach

Recently, the inclusive beach at the 11th station of the Great Fountain in Odessa - Beach 11 - hosted the Black Sea Cup in beach sambo.

Athletes from various regions of Ukraine participated in the competitions.

Attendees included Deputy Mayor Serhiy Kozyuba, advisor to the mayor on accessibility issues Oleksiy Morozov, president of the Odessa regional sambo federation Kadzhik Babajanyan, head of the city’s Department of Physical Culture and Sports Ruslan Puzdrach, and director of the Internal Policy Department of the City Council Oleksandr Zhyltsov.

“This beach was designed not only as a relaxation area but also as a true barrier-free venue for events. Today's competitions confirm this. Odessa will continue to support sports and accessibility,” noted Serhiy Kozyuba.

“Our team at the Accessibility Council saw great potential in this space during the planning stage. Today's event is the best confirmation that our efforts have paid off,” said Oleksiy Morozov.

Beach 11 has once again demonstrated its versatility and ability to host events of various scales, uniting sports, inclusion, and city development.
