Wife of Pro-Russian Ex-MP to Face Trial for Treason
The wife of a former pro-Russian MP, who fled to Russia, will be tried for treason. She established an IT company in Moscow that has been developing software for Russian military and special services since 2014.
This was reported by the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Investigators found that the wife of the former Ukrainian MP, who was the leader of the "Rodina" political party and left for Russia in 2014, founded a company in Moscow focused on IT technologies. This company was involved in developing software for entities affiliated with the Russian government, the Ministry of Defense, and special services. In 2023, the company implemented software for military helicopters of the Mi-26, Mi-35M, Mi-28N "Night Hunter" series, and Ka-52 «Alligator», which are used in the armed aggression against Ukraine.
At the request of the prosecutors, an arrest was placed on the accused's real estate. Currently, elite residential property and a plot of land in Odesa have been transferred to the management of ARMA. The accused is on the wanted list and will be tried in absentia.
