Alert: Fake Letters from the Tax Service

The Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Odesa region warns businesses about receiving fake emails allegedly from the deputy head of the State Tax Service. These emails offer financial assistance of 150,000 UAH for purchasing military equipment to be supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Tax Service is not involved in this correspondence. The aim of the scammers is to deceive businesses and tarnish the reputation of the tax service.

IMPORTANT! Officials from the Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Odesa region operate strictly within the law and have no relation to such letters.

The Southern Department of the Anti-Corruption Unit has already submitted a request to law enforcement regarding fraudulent activities.

To prevent fraud, we urge all taxpayers to remain vigilant, not to trust dubious offers, verify information carefully, and not to succumb to provocations. Under no circumstances should you transfer funds.

If you receive such a message, immediately contact law enforcement at 102, report to the Southern Department of the Anti-Corruption Unit at (048) 707 29 43, (048) 707 28 54, (048) 725 65 05, or call the State Tax Service of Ukraine's Pulse service at 0 800 501 007, providing information about the fraudsters if possible (surname, name, phone numbers, card account numbers).
