New Asset Management in Odesa Port Infrastructure
The management of assets in the Odesa port complex has received a new boost.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Southern Interregional Territorial Administration of ARMA and the Environmental Prosecutor's Office, the court has decided to transfer real estate assets to the National Agency for the Search and Management of Assets, which are a critical part of the region's logistics infrastructure.
These assets can be utilized to ensure uninterrupted cargo flows, strengthen food and energy security, and restore logistics chains during wartime.
Despite the threats of missile strikes and naval blockades, the ports of Odesa continue to operate steadily. Since the beginning of 2024, over 46 million tons of cargo have been exported through maritime routes, including agricultural products.
Amid the temporary inaccessibility of ports in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions, Odesa plays a critically important role as the sole logistics hub of the country — about 80% of the total cargo flow passes through its ports.
Specialists from the Southern MTU ARMA have already inspected these facilities. The next step will be an independent asset valuation. After determining its market value, the asset will be put up for an open competition in the Prozorro system to find an effective manager.
Stay tuned for updates on competitive proposals!
Information about the selection of managers is available on the official ARMA website in the section «Management of Seized Assets».
