Visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to Odesa University
During his working visit to the Odesa region, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with representatives of Odesa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov — one of the leading educational institutions in southern Ukraine.
He engaged in conversations with international relations and political science students who are preparing to represent Ukraine on the global stage.
The meeting was held in a friendly and lively manner. The minister was open to questions, eagerly sharing his diplomatic experiences and discussing contemporary challenges in foreign policy.
“Modern diplomacy requires not only expertise but also flexibility, a deep understanding of the world, and clear value orientations. This is the kind of new generation of diplomats we need,” emphasized Andrii Sybiha.
Students inquired about Euro-integration, information security, challenges of war, Ukraine's representation in the world, and internal motivation to serve the state during difficult times. The minister's responses inspired and provoked thought.
Such meetings are an investment in the future of our country and those who will soon shape Ukraine's image on the international stage.
We express our gratitude to Andrii Sybiha for his openness and to the university staff for creating a warm atmosphere!
