Meeting in Odesa: Polish Delegation and Ukrainian Mayor

The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadii Trukhanov, met with the Chargé d'Affaires of Poland in Ukraine, Piotr Lukaszewicz.

The Polish delegation is in Odesa for the Black Sea Security Forum – a platform for international dialogue on security in the Black Sea region.

Mr. Lukaszewicz noted that this is his first visit to Odesa, and he was deeply impressed by the city’s spirit, history, and culture, as well as the resilience of its residents in the current challenging circumstances.

Also present at the meeting was the Consul General of Poland in Odesa, Jacek Gocłowski.

Participants discussed the current situation in Ukraine and Poland, as well as the importance of preserving historical memory.

Additionally, the parties explored prospects for developing economic and cultural cooperation, including the organization of a Polish culture festival in Odesa.
