New Inclusive Pathway Opens in Odesa

In Odesa, construction has commenced on the pedestrian segment of the inclusive route «North-South». This is the largest pedestrian section of its kind in Ukraine as part of the National project «Movement without Barriers».

The route stretches from Kishinyivska Street to the Administrative Services Center on Zabolotnoho Street and encompasses several socially significant facilities. 
The project includes lowering curbs, installing ramps, laying tactile tiles, and updating the surface according to state construction standards.

The works started symbolically on the first day of the Barrier-Free Week, which is taking place in Ukraine.

The project is being implemented at the initiative of the Barrier-Free Council with support from Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
