Negotiations in Turkey: Ukrainian Delegation Aligns with Allies
The Ukrainian delegation met with representatives from four nations during their visit to Turkey to coordinate positions ahead of negotiations with Russia.
This was announced by Andriy Yermak, the head of the President's Office.
Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga were also present. Earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported the start of negotiations among Ukrainian, American, and Turkish delegations.
According to Yermak, they met with the U.S. Special Representative Keith Kellogg, the British Prime Minister's National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell, the diplomatic advisor to the French President Emmanuel Bonne, and the foreign policy and security advisor to the German Chancellor Günther Sauder to discuss further steps.
During the meetings, they coordinated positions ahead of the Ukrainian and Russian delegations' meeting in Istanbul.
"We are committed to peace and an unconditional ceasefire. The Ukrainian delegation is ready for high-level meetings to achieve this priority," Yermak emphasized.
