Children's Creativity Exhibition in Jerusalem

On May 7, 2025, the grand opening of the 31st exhibition of finalists in the international children's creativity competition «Easter Glow» took place at the Holy Archangel Michael Female Monastery in Jerusalem.

The competition was established to support talented children and create opportunities for their artistic and intellectual growth.

The international exhibition «Easter Glow» brought together children from various countries. For 31 years, this extensive artistic project has been ongoing. In 2025, the exhibition features works from children not only in Ukraine but also in numerous European countries, whose creative activities continue thanks to the support of their families and teachers.

The exhibition comprises 300 artworks, of which nearly 100 have been awarded diplomas. The collection includes works created in various materials and techniques - watercolor, gouache, graphic works, dolls, stained glass, paper crafts, decorative compositions, and more. The selection was made by a reputable jury led by Galina Lekareva-Nikitina, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and an honorary worker of culture.

In their drawings, children express personal impressions of the surrounding world, reflecting folk customs with sincerity and directness.

As per tradition, the best works were recognized in three categories - painting, graphics, and decorative applied arts. This year, children from Ukraine, Poland, and the USA participated in the competition.
