Public Voting in Odesa 2025: New Street Names

According to the latest information, the voting will take place from May 1 to July 1, 2025, on the official website of the Odesa City Council in the «Public Discussion» section on the «Socially Active Citizen» platform (citizen.omr.gov.ua). Real-time information about the voting process will be available.
Only citizens registered in Odesa who are 18 years old or older can participate. Each participant can vote for each proposed option by choosing «Yes» or «No». Additionally, there is an opportunity to leave a comment explaining their position.
The updated list of toponyms under discussion includes the following proposals:
- rename Chapayeva Street (Peresyp) to Vyacheslav Kyrylov Street;
- rename Kanatny Lane (Primorsky District) to Mihai Eminescu Lane;
- name the park at the intersection of Fontanska Road and Lesia Ukrainka Avenue — «Lesia Ukrainka Park»;
- rename Serednia Street (Khadyzhbey District) to Oleksandr Sviash Street.
