Triathlon Championship in Ukraine: Essential Details for Participants

On Sunday, May 4, 2025, Odessa will host the Ukraine Triathlon Championship (duathlon) for sports veterans. Due to this event, vehicle access will be temporarily restricted on one of the city's central streets.
According to the Odessa City Council, the competition, organized by the «Odessa Regional Triathlon Federation» and «Southern Triathlon League», will run from 07:00 to 12:00.
The events will follow these routes:
- cycling stage (20 km): Makarliivska St. corner of Sabansky Lane – «Chernomorets» Stadium (Shevchenko Park) – Dmytro Lesych Lane (formerly Barayatyinsky) – Makarliivska St. – Troitska St. – Makarliivska St. corner of Sabansky Lane;
- running stage (2.5 km, 5 km): paths in Shevchenko Park.
Due to the triathlon event, access to Makarliivska St. will be restricted from 07:45 to 10:00 (from Dmytro Lesych Lane (formerly Barayatyinsky) to Troitska St.), except for emergency vehicles and motorcycles involved in the organization of the event.
Drivers are asked to consider this when planning their travel within the city.
