Remarkable Rescue: Medics Bring Odessa Man Back to Life
Recently, emergency medics in Odessa successfully saved the life of a 54-year-old man who had experienced clinical death.
This was reported by the Emergency Medical Assistance Center.
The medical team responded to a call and arrived on the scene in under 10 minutes. It turned out that the 54-year-old man had suffered a massive hemorrhage from his mouth following intravenous medication administration, leading to clinical death.
Before the team arrived, his relative, a nurse-anesthetist, provided initial care by ensuring venous access and airway patency.
Upon arrival, the team, consisting of doctor Vyacheslav Yurievich Dobrovichny, paramedic Konstantin Valerievich Baida, and medical technician Alexander Dmitrovich Podolyak, immediately began resuscitation efforts. They performed chest compressions, intubated the trachea, initiated artificial ventilation, and administered adrenaline and crystalloid infusion.
By the 24th minute of resuscitation, the patient's spontaneous circulation was restored, and he was transported to the 11th city hospital.
The team not only arrived on time — they did everything possible to give the person a chance, the doctors noted.
