Vaccination Drive at Odesa Bakery: New Initiatives
This week, medical professionals from the Primary Health Care Center No. 16 conducted a vaccination drive for employees of Odesa Bakery No. 4 against diphtheria and tetanus.
A total of 75 employees received the vaccine.
The Odesa City Health Department continues its active vaccination efforts against whooping cough, diphtheria, and tetanus in line with the initiatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to ensure epidemiological stability.
Currently, about 84% of children eligible for vaccinations under the additional immunization plan have been vaccinated. Vaccines against diphtheria and tetanus are also essential for adults, who should receive booster shots every ten years for sustained protection.
In wartime, vaccination coverage is a critical issue for national security and the health of the nation.
The City Health Department reminds that free mobile vaccination can be organized for groups of employees.
Qualified medical staff carry out the vaccinations, and the vaccines meet all quality standards, being stored and transported under appropriate temperature conditions.
Interested groups wanting to ensure their employees' health can fill out the registration form or contact the Health Department at dep.oz@omr.gov.ua or by phone: (048) 753 14 36, (048) 753 15 75.
