Free Rehabilitation Services in Ukraine
Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, the number of individuals needing rehabilitation has been steadily rising. Rehabilitation is necessary after surgeries, injuries, or prolonged treatments. The National Health Service of Ukraine emphasizes that everyone is entitled to free rehabilitation, regardless of their place of residence.
The medical guarantees program includes free rehabilitation for adults and children in outpatient settings. Internally displaced persons can choose any facility in Kyiv that has a contract with the NHSU. However, an electronic referral from a family or treating doctor is required prior to visiting.

If a facility requires payment for services covered by the program, this violates patient rights. In such cases, a complaint should be submitted:
