New Electronic Medical Conclusions in Ukraine

03 October 2025

In Ukraine, the introduction of new electronic medical conclusions is planned for 2026. These documents will facilitate the processes of adoption and obtaining a driver's license.
This was announced by Dmytro Chernysh, the director of the eHealth development department at the National Health Service of Ukraine, during the eHealth Day event at the Public Health exhibition.
“We are preparing to launch new electronic medical conclusions that will streamline important processes and enhance transparency,” Chernysh stated.
He also mentioned that implementing these electronic medical conclusions requires amendments to legislation, including relevant regulations and laws.
Additionally, this year marks the beginning of the next phase of electronic services in the rehabilitation sector, concerning the electronic prescription of assistive devices for patients.
“Previously, these data were documented on paper, but now they will be automatically transmitted to the Ministry of Social Policy so that patients can receive necessary aids more quickly,” Chernysh added.
Starting in 2026, Ukraine will also launch a preventive medical examination program for individuals aged 40 and over to detect dangerous diseases at early stages. Participants will be able to receive funding for examinations through the “Diia” platform.
