Free DevOps Course for Veterans: New Opportunities

The Ukrainian Veterans Fund, in collaboration with the Lobby X recruitment platform and SoftServe, announces a new free course on DevOps Fundamentals intended for veterans, military personnel, and their families.

The course will cover:

- basics of Git/GitHub;

- Linux administration: file system structure;

- scripting languages Bash and PowerShell;

- networking concepts: protocols, IP addresses;

- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions;

- cloud services IaaS, PaaS;

- working with AWS, Azure, GCP;

- the role of artifacts in DevOps;

- soft skills for IT;

- job search tips and resume writing.

Participants will gain knowledge to master the fundamentals of DevOps, set up working environments, and optimize project deployment. This will enable them to effectively implement changes at every stage of development.

Classes will be held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6 PM to 8 PM via Zoom. Experienced mentors will guide through the theoretical aspects and practical assignments.

Lectures will be recorded for those who cannot attend live.

The course starts on February 3rd and lasts for 9 weeks.

Requirements for study:

a laptop (computer), internet access, and time for homework.

Successful participants will receive a certificate.
