Revolutionizing Analytics with Gemini

06 November 2025

Google has launched an exciting feature called Gemini Deep Research – a system that enables the AI assistant to generate in-depth analytical reports based on user-specific data. Now, Gemini can leverage emails, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and chats as sources of information for analysis.
Deep Research starts by developing a query plan, then performs a series of searches and compiles the results into a structured report. Users have the option to refine the output or export it to Google Docs, and even create a podcast based on the findings.
According to Google, Deep Research can conduct market analysis by utilizing internal team correspondence, Drive documents, and project plans. For instance, AI can generate a competitor report by merging open-source information with corporate files or communications via Google Chat.
The Gemini interface now features source selection: users can grant access to Google Search, Gmail, Drive, or Chat individually. All connections are made only with user consent, and Google asserts that data is not used for model training.
Currently, Deep Research is available only in the desktop version of Gemini, but the company plans to rollout mobile support in the coming days. Initially, Workspace and Gemini Advanced users will have access to this feature, after which it will be available to a wider audience.
Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that Gemini recently introduced a feature for creating presentations upon user request.
