OpenAI's New Music Generation Tool

The company OpenAI is working on a new tool that will allow users to generate music from text and audio prompts.
According to The Information, this technology could be used to add musical accompaniment to videos or create guitar parts for pre-recorded vocals. It remains unclear when this tool will be available and whether it will be a standalone product like Suno or integrated into ChatGPT or the video application Sora.
Sources indicate that OpenAI is collaborating with students from the Juilliard School to assist in annotating musical scores for training material development.
Previously, the company had launched music generation models, but these were released prior to the launch of ChatGPT. It is known that OpenAI is currently focusing on audio models, particularly for converting text to speech and vice versa.
