Introducing MITLA 1: A New Drone Neutralization Tool
The Ukrainian company TENETA has unveiled an innovative device for neutralizing enemy drones — the disposable net launcher MITLA 1. Its primary purpose is to incapacitate FPV drones and reconnaissance quadcopters by entangling their rotors with a specialized net.
Weighing just 365 grams, MITLA features compact dimensions of 200 mm in length and 40 mm in diameter, making it easy to carry in military gear. To operate, simply pull the safety pin, aim, and press the button; the 3.5×3.5 meter net automatically unfolds within 0.2 seconds of launch, effectively hindering the drone's movement.
MITLA operates reliably across various temperature conditions, whether in heat or cold. Its maximum effective shooting range is up to 25 meters. The device has a strong recoil due to the use of a 7.62 mm pyrotechnic cartridge, so it is recommended to hold it with both hands.
MITLA is positioned as a cost-effective solution for rapid response to aerial threats, particularly relevant in positional warfare scenarios.
