New Developments for the Digital Platform "Diia"

19 May 2025

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has announced the launch of monetization for the "Diia" platform and intends to transform it into a standalone state company, potentially leading to an IPO in the future.

This information was shared by Mykhailo Fedorov, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, at the DOU Day conference.

Monetization of "Diia" began in May 2025, and the platform is expected to generate its first revenue by June. One of the initial monetization tools is document sharing.

"Every month, tens of thousands of accounts are opened through "Diia". For instance, monobank opened 22,000 accounts in one day. Financial institutions are willing to pay for such services," noted Fedorov.

He also emphasized that the ministry is gradually working on separating "Diia" into a distinct state company that can attract businesses to the platform and even sell its shares.

"We plan to gradually separate "Diia" into a standalone state company. In the future, shares of this company may be sold (which indicates a potential IPO). Therefore, "Diia" will become a marketplace where businesses can launch their services and utilize our infrastructure," added the minister.
