National Instrument Competition in Odesa

From April 14 to 16, 2025, the Odesa School of Arts No. 1 hosted the nationwide competition for folk instrument performers called «Colors of the Rainbow».

The event featured 111 gifted participants, including children and youth from various artistic educational institutions in Ukraine: 77 soloists and 8 ensembles.

The participants came from a wide range of locations: Odesa, Chornomorsk, Izmail, Tatarbunar, Pechenizhyn, Lokachi, Cherkasy, Horodnya, Chernihiv, Smila, Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, Chernivtsi, Sloboda, Lutsk, and Kharkiv.

On April 16, the gala concert and awards ceremony for the «Colors of the Rainbow» competition took place.

The laureates received certificates and participated in the concert.

As part of the competition, there was a master class by People's Artist of Ukraine, Professor Volodymyr Murza, and a creative meeting with Professor Nina Morozovich.

Additionally, a presentation on «Video Sequence in the Concert Performance of a Modern Guitarist» was held, delivered by Dr. Ivan Kosynets.
